The Macroneers are creatures in Spore Creatures that are found in two regions on planet Tapti. They have the stun bio-power and, when you first meet them, are rather aggressive. You can befriend one Macroneer, but its nest mates will attack you (along with the Macroneer you were befriending) when you're just about to gain its trust. It is possible, but very difficult, to befriend a Macroneer. If you succeed in befriending all of the Macroneer, a friendly one will join you as you progress through the volcanic region of Zager.
